Basic Information

Overview

'Hansik' means Korean food. Hansik Space E:eum is a Korean food cultural space that conducts exhibitions, experiences, promotions, and education related to Korean food and Korean food culture. In addition to the planned exhibition, the beauty of Korean food is promoted through rental exhibitions related to Korean food.


Attractions

E:eum, a Korean food cultural space consisting of the first basement floor and the second ground floor, is a place where to meet various contents related to Korean food. At the Korean Food Grand Master Center, experience programs such as "traditional food experience" and "online master experience" will be held. The E:eum studio of the Hansik Learning Center is equipped with professional staffs and high tech equipments. At the Hansik Learning Center, tourists can make Korean food using seasonal ingredients and traditional fermented foods. In addition, there is also an exhibition hall, such as a Hansik gallery, where guests can learn about various Korean food cultures, and a The Sool Gallery where guests can view and purchase various traditional liquor. There is an E:eum Cafe with menus using tea and Korean sweets from Korean food professionals. It operates programs in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese, making it the perfect place for foreign tourists to visit. 


Accessibility 

The entryway is flat and wide. The main entrance also has no steps and tactile paving for persons with visual impairment is installed. The information desk is rather high so caution is needed for wheelchair users. There is an elevator that is sufficient space for wheelchair users and strollers. There are parking facilities for persons with disabilities that wheelchair users can conveniently use on the right side of the building. Wheelchair users can comfortably enter and exit from the parking lots to the building through doors which are located side part of the building.
