Basic Information

Overview

The Hyundai Card Art Library is a space where anyone can enjoy contemporary art through books at their own pace and in their own way. Visitors can find a collection of about 6,000 rare books that have been recognized for their artistic collection value. It is operated with the goal of being a space to stop by anytime to relax comfortably. Visitors with a Hyundai Card can enter the library and with accompany two persons. Visitors without Hyundai Card can enter after installing and proving the "Hyundai Card DIVE" app. Only those aged 19 or older are allowed to enter. 


Attractions

The library contains books classified as Complete Collection, representative books that record important exhibitions and sites in contemporary art history. In addition, there is a Moving Image Room where visitors can see works and records that are meaningful in terms of art history among media and performance art in the early 1960s and 1970s, which expanded the area of contemporary art. In addition, various experience events are held and can be reserved through the DIVE app.


Accessibility 

The main entrance of the building is wide and flat, however the library is on the 2nd floor without elevator. In front of the main entrance, tactile paving is installed. The information desk is at the left side of the main entrance.
