Basic Information

Overview

Théâtre des Lumières , located in Grand Walker Hill Seoul Hotel, is a reborn cultural and artistic space opened in 2022. It utilizes the lighting and stage equipment of Walkerhill Grand Theater on the same site, which was opened in 1963 but discontinued the operation. It is the second project of immersive media art by Timonet, IT enterprise in Korea, after the success of Bunker de Lumières in Jeju Island.


Attractions

Théâtre des Lumières is the largest media art exhibition space in Seoul, with about 3,300 square meters of floors and 21m of height. With high-definition projectors, speakers, and 3D sound technology, visitors can experience a unique artistic experience and be completely immersed in the artworks and music. 


Accessibility 

The main entrance is a revolving door, and a stop device is installed. There is a Korean information board in front of the ticket office and there are elevators near the emergency exit on both sides of the exhibition hall. There are single-user accessible restroom for both male and female, but the width isn't space enough to turn a wheelchair. There is a nursing room next to the Walker Hill Library on the 2nd floor of the Hotel, along with a diaper changing stationThere are parking facilities for persons with disabilities at the Walker Hill Hotel Parking Tower
