Overview
DMC (Digital Media City) is a hub for Korea’s excellent IT technology and human resources sector as well as the cultural entertainment industry that is the source of the ‘K-wave’. This district is contributing greatly to Korea’s dominance in the 21st century information-based market and knowledge economy.
Attractions
Visitors can see a DMC industry exhibition, a 3D stereoscopic video onthe 2nd floor of the DMC Promotion Hall and experience a one-person media (Multi Channel Network) program on the 3rd floor as well. In particular, the exhibition ‘A Messgae from a Giant Planet’ show visitors the lights and colors of the universe and is suitable for children of 8 years or older to enjoy.
Accessibility
The main entrance has stairs, so people with mobility disabilities need to use the elevator near the parking lot. By using the call button, wheelchair users and strollers can receive assistance to use the elevator. The first floor of the exhibition hall has uneven sections and stairs. Accessible restrooms and parking spaces are available. The infant changing station is not accessible for wheelchair users.
