Gyeongbokgung Stonewall Walkway and Cheong Wa Dae

The Gyeongbokgung Stonewall Walkway has the cultural heritages and stories of the royal family of the Joseon Dynasty. The center of the route is Cheong Wa Dae, which opened its doors to the public after 600 years. It was formerly a temporary palace of Goryeo Namgyeong, but later became a secret garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace, before being used as the official residence of the Japanese General Government of Korea. Until recently, the Cheong Wa Dae had served as both the executive office and residence of the president of the Republic of Korea, however, it's now open to the public for viewing. - Dongsipjagak
- Sipjagak is a tower built at the edge of the palace walls for guarding the palace. This structure allows us to guess the original shape of the walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Dongsipjagak was the only independent watchtower in the palaces of Joseon.

- National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul
- Sogyeokseo, as a Taoist altar of the Joseon Dynasty, Jongchinbu Government Office, and Saganwon as a form of media organization were situated at this site. After the liberation of Korea from Japan, the Korean Armed Forces Integrated Capital Hospital and Defense Security Command were relocated to this historical place.

- Jongchinbu Government Office
- The Jongchinbu Government Office was in charge of the Joseon Dynasty’s royal family affairs, including political positions, weddings, funerals, and ancestral rites. It was also responsible for keeping the royal family’s genealogy and portraits and managing kings and queens’ clothes.

- Cheong Wa Dae
- It was originally in Namgyeong during the Goryeo Dynasty but became a secret garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Cheong Wa Dae has been standing at the center of politics for around 1,000 years throughout the Japanese occupation, the period of the US administration, and the establishment of the Republic of Korea government. Today, it is opening a new era as a cultural space for citizens.
