Basic Information

[Overview] Some Sevit is a notable complex cultural landmark where visitors can experience a unique waterfront culture along the Hangang River, located at the heart of Seoul. It is the first floating structure in the world, constructed on a floating platform that can stay buoyant on water. Some Sevit consists of 'Gavit', 'Chavit', and 'Solvit', three lights illuminating the Hangang River, along with 'Yevit', a media art gallery showcasing various videos and performances. Along with experiencing different events like international events, seminars, banquets, weddings, and concerts with the scenic Hangang River behind them, visitors can savor food and drinks at brunch spots, live buffets, cafes, and more while relishing the romance of the Hangang River in the city center. Specifically, the 'Tubester' situated on Gavit Island is an innovative water leisure attraction where you can enjoy picnics and celebrations on a boat.

[Accessibility] The accessible way and main entrance are wide and free of slopes, ensuring ease of access for all. The road surface is mostly level, but there are a few slight steps where the islands meet, so caution is advised when using wheelchairs and strollers. The information desks are accessible for wheelchairs, and there are signages across the island indicating locations and tours. Each building features an elevator with ample interior space for wheelchair users. Accessible restrooms for persons with disabilities can be found on Gavit Island, Chavit Island, and in the nearby Hangang Park. A nursing room is situated on the first floor within Gavit Island, featuring a nursing area and a diaper changing station.
