Basic Information
[Overview] The National Aviation Museum of Korea is the first national aviation museum in Korea. Inaugurated to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the first Korean flight school's opening, the museum's exterior resembles an airplane jet engine and bird feathers. The National Aviation Museum of Korea showcases a wide range of exhibits and experiences on the history, industry, and life of aviation, from the development of world airlines to the future life as a result of advances in aviation technology. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to learn about Korea's aviation industry status through various programs such as in-flight training, pilot control, and aviation leisure sports experience.
[Accessibility] The accessible way is wide with no steps but has a gentle slope. The main entrance is wide, with no steps or slopes, and Braille blocks are installed for the visually impaired. There are information desks for each exhibit and experience, and the aviation leisure sports experience information desk is at an accessible height for wheelchair users. Some information desks may be a bit high for wheelchair users. The Information Desk on the first floor offers docent programs, and stroller and wheelchair rentals are available. The elevators are spacious and have wheelchair-accessible operating buttons. The accessible restrooms are separate from the regular restrooms and also separated by gender. There are five accessible parking spaces in the basement of the building. There is a diaper changing station in the nursing room on the first floor and also inside the regular restrooms.
