Basic Information

[Overview] Children's Grand Park was once a golf course from the Japanese occupation until after the Korean War, when it was acquired by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and reopened as Children's Grand Park in 1973. It is an ecological park filled with flora and fauna where citizens can come together to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. In addition to a zoo and amusement park, the park has a botanical garden, musical fountains, hands-on educational facilities, and various walking trails and shelters.

[Accessibility] The accessible way is gently sloped for easy access. The park is very spacious and contains numerous gentle inclines, which may make it difficult for individuals to push strollers or wheelchairs. The accessible restroom at the Visitor Information Center is spacious, while the accessible restroom at the Botanical Garden Food Court is slightly narrow. There are parking lots available both above and below ground. The park has mostly accessible ramps, although there are some steep inclines both inside and outside the Tropical Animal Center. Wheelchairs are available for rent, and there are also nursing rooms along with diaper changing stations available.
