Basic Information

[Overview] Haneul Park, situated close to World Cup Stadium Station, was established with the aim of restoring Nanjido, a former garbage landfill site. The reason it is named Haneul Park is because it is situated nearest to the sky, which translates to "Haneul" in Korean. From the Haneul Observatory, you can enjoy a view of Seoul's scenery with Bukhansan Mountain and the Hangang River in sight. Along with the nearby Noeul Park, Pyeonghwa Park, Nanjicheon Park, and Nanji Hangang Park, Haneul Park provides Seoul residents with a location to unwind and appreciate nature. The Silver Grass Festival held in the autumn is a famous event at Haneul Park, and there are various photo spots at the park including a colony of pink muhlys.

[접근성] The wide main entrance and accessible way are step-free, but certain areas in the park, like the gravel fields, have uneven surfaces, so extra caution is advised when using wheelchairs or strollers. You can rent strollers and wheelchairs at the summit information center, and there is a tactile map available to guide you through the park. The accessible toilet has ample interior space available for electric wheelchairs. There are 8 accessible parking spaces in the parking lot by Haneul Park, located in front of Nanjicheon Park Children Forest Experience Center. Near the visitor center, there is a nursing room available for parents with infants and toddlers, as well as a diaper-changing table in the women's restroom.
