Basic Information

Overview

Ground Seesaw is a cultural complex located in Seochon, Jongno, the western village of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Seochon is a place where histories, arts, and cultures gather. Visitors can access a variety of trendy and interesting exhibitions that go well with the village. Its operating philosophy is 'Inspiration into reality'. In line with the operating philosophy, a number of contents full of artistic inspiration have been produced and introduced as a special exhibition.


Attractions

Ground Seesaw Seochon is an exhibition hall that catches people's attention through the exterior of the building, such as the unique piloti-structured architecture and pond. It is loved as a "hip place" among the MZ generation and is perfect for taking photos with its elegant spatial beauty. Tickets can be purchased on-site, even without prior reservation, so visitors can visit comfortably. The gallery attracts attention every time with various media art exhibitions with solid stories and introduces new exhibitions every season. The Anonymous Project exhibition is held from November 25, 2022, to April 2, 2023. There is an accessory shop inside, so visitors can purchase souvenirs or goods related to the exhibition. The terrace outside the building is a famous photo zone for visitors with a view of Seochon and Inwangsan Mountain.

Accessibility 

The entryway has a gentle slope so it is accessible. However, the main entrance has steps so help may be needed for wheelchair users and strollers. Overall, the interior space is large, so there are no difficulties for wheelchair users to move around. There is an information desk, also used as a ticket office, on the first floor. There is an elevator near the entrance of the exhibition hall on each floor.
