Overview
The Nowon Cosmos Science Center, opened in 2008 with the topic “How did everything in the world become what it is today, where are we located, and what will happen to all of these things?", is a science museum where visitors can see everything about space, earth, life, and the evolution of mankind.
Attractions
The Nowon Cosmos Science Center has four exhibition halls and offers direct and indirect experiences about the universe through various themes. At the 'Big History Hall' and 'Cosmos Hall,' visitors can learn the history of the universe, the earth, and the evolution of life under the theme of 'space-time travel,' as well as indirectly experience observations. The 'Astronomical Projection Room' and the 'Seoul Citizens Observatory' allow visitors to observe the virtual night sky and the actual night sky at the same time. It will be a fascinating place not only for children but also for all ages. Various special lectures and educational programs are also provided with online and offline reservations, making it perfect for education.

The entryway is broad and has no steps. The main entrance is also has no slopes and steps, so it is convenient for wheelchair users to enter and exit. There are two elevators inside the building, the interior space is rather narrow, so caution is required for wheelchair users. Accessible restrooms for persons with disabilities on the first floor. There are parking facilities for persons with disabilities on the first basement floor for the convenience of wheelchair users. There is no separate storage for strollers, but it can be stored next to the information desk.
