Basic Information

Overview 

Aqua Planet 63 is located in the 63 Building and one of Seoul's top 10 attractions. It is a comprehensive aquarium where visitors can enjoy various marine life, fantastic live jazz performances, and special underwater performances. In the name of the aquarium, "Aqua" means "meeting marine science with humans," and "Planet" means "viewers enjoy high-tech science concepts as if exploring a space planet."


Attractions

Aqua Planet is divided into sections by fish type, habitat, and theme. The first basement floor consists of four areas: Aqua Valley, Otter Planet, Aqua Planet Garden, and Gold Miracle. The second basement floor consists of a Penguin Planet, a Fantastic Mermaid, Seal Planet, and a Coral Planet. There is a mermaid performance "Fantastic Mermaid: Into the Sea of Secret Luna", and ecological sessions such as "Cute Otters' Meal Time" and "Cute Penguins' Meal Time" every day.


Accessibility 

The entryway is wide and has no slopes and steps. The main entrance also has no slopes and steps, so it is convenient for wheelchair users to enter and exit. There are parking facilities for persons with disabilities on the third basement floor of the 63 Building. There are also accessible restrooms for persons with disabilities in the building, but not inside Aqua Planet, so it is recommended to use before visiting. Diaper changing stations are available for infants and toddlers to use in both men's and women's bathrooms, and there is a nursing room next to the ticket booth.
