Basic Information

Overview 

Namsan Cable Car is a characteristic landmark of Korea where visitors can see the scenery of Namsan rising from the middle of Seoul. The cable car stared operating on May 12, 1962 and boasts a more than 50-year history through today.


Attractions 

The driving distance is about 600m from the Hoehyeon-dong platform to the top of Namsan Mountain, and the one-way trip takes about 3 minutes. The height is 138m. And the capacity of one car is 48 people. You can enjoy the spectacular scenery and views of Seoul from the cable car.


Accessibility 

The main entrance is wide and has no obstacles. The information desk might be high for some wheelchair users and wheelchair and stroller rental service is provided. The elevator, restroom and parking lots are accessible. An infant nursing room is available.
